  @DogSpence @brian_armstrong It's "obscured" because they purchased the pro website from the original GDAX - basically coinbase started without market making, only purchasing via coinbase with custody. They are integrating the two - hence why pro is shutting down and they opened the market entry on CB

  After taking the summer off in 2016 to work on Litecoin SegWit, I went part time at Coinbase and worked mostly from home. At that time I asked Brian if we can add LTC support given how successful the Ethereum launch was. Brian reluctantly agreed to launch on GDAX only.

Coinbase shut gdax down and when it came back it was around $800. A lot of people lost money just like how shib went from 0.00007 to 0.0000007. They knew what they did

  @riddle245 Personally, I'm trying not to use CB or Gemini if I can help it. I liked CB, but I haven't used it much since. Have used Binance, Bittrex, Binance US, FTX, FTX US, KuCoin, and CB even back when it had GDax integration. Is CB Pro any good?

  Honestly think this is a because of a technical issue they are either too lazy or too cheap to fix. Very few noteworthy updates since it was GDAX. API is dog **** and no tax reporting features. On to Binance US we go.

  @0xdoc14 @coinbase the tether book was so **** i once had to buy bitcoin with tether to dump for fiat. fun times @coinbase. killing gdax also sucks. thanks for that. not using coinbase ultra 64 or whatever it is now.

  A dollar losing purchasing power over a century is not the same thing as $DXY breaking down today. Right now, the weekly dollar chart just held its long-term trendline and bounced. The GDAX cross is also close to flipping. That matters. Because structurally, this looks less like a collapse and more like a setup for dollar stabilization, possibly strength.

  @zhusu There are issue with GDAX especially when there is dump in BTC. Last one few days ago GDAX was inaccessible. During the drop USDC droped to of -16%. How can you win a trade like this?

  @stephanlivera @bitcoinXtalk @jakeshieldsajj I sold bcash for ~7500$ that day, I believe there was a glitch between the coinbase broker site and GDAX (coinbase advanced now), it was about a 30 minute window where you could sell for ridiculous prices it seemed a bugged algo was buying.

  There are a lot of glaring issues with Litecoin and I can't list them all, but I am a realist and I will list a few. 1. Charlie Lee did infact wash trade the Litecoin order books on Gdax in 2016-2017. This is documented 2. The @litecoin account is managed by a meme poster

  @AnthonyJK Coinbase wallet is where Coinbase makes a killing in fees for the convenience and it’s a gateway to crypto. Start CoinbasePro with the same login (used to be called gdax). Transfers between the two are free. Then, wherever you want to move BTC from there, used LTC to do it.

  When **** hits the fan, u wont be able to exit, they even turning the ******* exchanges off now when it becomes bad, because books is empty. Those who doesnt turn it off like gdax(coinbase) last week, have 2k spread. People who believe we liquid, will learn hard lesson.

  @ScottDa81001051 Hey @ScottDa81001051; afraid it's pretty tough nowadays. Used to use GDAX/CB Pro, but it's impossible nowadays with the maker fees + tighter spreads. Looked at @BitMEX for their negative maker fees, but it was too competitive.

  @tier10k well, coinbase pro is garbage during high volume events...and has been since the gdax days...so maybe that's what he was referencing. still dumb though.
