  @ercwl Fees are insane on Coinbase, but you can send to GDAX easily enough & it is a good platform to use. Once you move from Coinbase you never have to go back there. You can withdraw directly from Gdax to bank, & it's v quick. Customer service is non-existent tho.

  @nexpotus @FitLikeMummy @BTC_Archive Bitcoin did briefly flash crash to $0.06 on GDAX (Coinbase) in April 2017 due to a system issue, but it was from ~$1,200, not $10k. The 2011 Mt. Gox hack saw it drop to $0.01 from $32. Stink bids are smart—always good to have them ready!

  I traded cryptos on coinbase back when it was gdax. Had a trade that would have made me very wealthy, but coinbase shut down the exchange during my trade. Took years to even get ahold of someone to talk to. Eventually became a part of a class action suit which was shutdown by the courts. Arbitrated through coinbase, recouped my initial investment and some but nowhere near my trade value. You really don’t understand the level of corruption in this space. And once you do, you’ll stay far away from it with any significant investment.

  @RiskReversal Any assurance that if all the volume migrated over to $pypl their infrastructure would be any more reliable? Full disclosure, I was forced to use Coinbase Pro after GDAX was phased out and hate it. Was trying to buy 1 BTC at $32k yesterday and could not log in 😩

  A dollar losing purchasing power over a century is not the same thing as $DXY breaking down today. Right now, the weekly dollar chart just held its long-term trendline and bounced. The GDAX cross is also close to flipping. That matters. Because structurally, this looks less like a collapse and more like a setup for dollar stabilization, possibly strength.

  @lynk0x Also: Ethereum flash crash on Gdax (June 21, 2017) BTC flsh crash on Kraken (October 11, 2019) BTC flash crash on BITMEX (March 13, 2020) BTC liquidation cascade across multiple exchanges (February 5, 2021) ETH flash crash on Kraken (May 19th, 2022) ... CEX's are the issue.

  @SoldNever @dredoggyx @MattWallace888 You said bitcoin crashed to $.06 4 years ago. It was a gdax glitch, no other sites had that price. It was a company issue not the price of bitcoin. Last time bitcoin was $.06 was back in 2010 ish.

Coinbase shut gdax down and when it came back it was around $800. A lot of people lost money just like how shib went from 0.00007 to 0.0000007. They knew what they did

They fixed it right away back to the right price. Again how can't you not understand that. Reading isn't your thing?

  @BMcbiffy @investvoyager @Ehrls15 100% bro. I'm a user case of leaving coinbase for voyager and I really value voyager. Tbh I never really had issues with coinbase, but I dont use coinbase for transactions, I use coinbase pro (used to be gdax) lol. Regardless, voyager wins

  There are a lot of glaring issues with Litecoin and I can't list them all, but I am a realist and I will list a few. 1. Charlie Lee did infact wash trade the Litecoin order books on Gdax in 2016-2017. This is documented 2. The @litecoin account is managed by a meme poster

  @Coinbase sunset GDAX/Pro. What ever could go wrong? Plenty. API and data issues already create chaos at tax time so let's layer this on top. Ugh. Already warning my clients. The history of change failure in this space is a feature, not a bug. Best of luck for us all. We need it.
