  @DogSpence @brian_armstrong It's "obscured" because they purchased the pro website from the original GDAX - basically coinbase started without market making, only purchasing via coinbase with custody. They are integrating the two - hence why pro is shutting down and they opened the market entry on CB

  @coinbase I am still trying to find out how to recover my money that was moved to GDAX without out my authorization, case # 05052143 ,why assign a ticket number and get no help ? Looks Im not the only one who has been ripped off ,maybe we all need to file a lawsuit?

  @ercwl Fees are insane on Coinbase, but you can send to GDAX easily enough & it is a good platform to use. Once you move from Coinbase you never have to go back there. You can withdraw directly from Gdax to bank, & it's v quick. Customer service is non-existent tho.

  @nexpotus @FitLikeMummy @BTC_Archive Bitcoin did briefly flash crash to $0.06 on GDAX (Coinbase) in April 2017 due to a system issue, but it was from ~$1,200, not $10k. The 2011 Mt. Gox hack saw it drop to $0.01 from $32. Stink bids are smart—always good to have them ready!

  I traded cryptos on coinbase back when it was gdax. Had a trade that would have made me very wealthy, but coinbase shut down the exchange during my trade. Took years to even get ahold of someone to talk to. Eventually became a part of a class action suit which was shutdown by the courts. Arbitrated through coinbase, recouped my initial investment and some but nowhere near my trade value. You really don’t understand the level of corruption in this space. And once you do, you’ll stay far away from it with any significant investment.

  @tier10k well, coinbase pro is garbage during high volume events...and has been since the gdax days...so maybe that's what he was referencing. still dumb though.

  @BrentJo77143717 @Bitcoinsensus I remember that day but it was kinda glitch on gdax’ part. The organic correction was from $420 to $140 and then back to new ATH which took another 6 months or so i believe

  @TraderMercury Literally. Agree 100%. Support is not existent, fees are completely nuts. At least gdax had 0 maker fees back in the day. Nowadays avoid at all costs.

  @lynk0x Also: Ethereum flash crash on Gdax (June 21, 2017) BTC flsh crash on Kraken (October 11, 2019) BTC flash crash on BITMEX (March 13, 2020) BTC liquidation cascade across multiple exchanges (February 5, 2021) ETH flash crash on Kraken (May 19th, 2022) ... CEX's are the issue.

  @coinbase GDAX has the superior interface to whatever this blinding garbage is we're seeing in your blog post. It looks like a BITTREX reject. Long time users are familiar with and like GDAX's layout Another baffling move by COIN. Keep the GDAX interface, it wasnt broken & neednt be fixed

  @zhusu There are issue with GDAX especially when there is dump in BTC. Last one few days ago GDAX was inaccessible. During the drop USDC droped to of -16%. How can you win a trade like this?

  @edwardcjack They’ve been ripping people off for years & years. Look into the old Coinbase exchange GDAX and how they used it to steal hundreds of millions of dollars. #Coinbase has been bad for crypto and bad for #Bitcoin . Walk away from Brian Armstrong he is a thief & a terrible human.

  Is that the same company that Maggie McGovern was involved with? I really don’t know what happened. Were they forging my signature? Were they sending emails from my gmail account? Did they clone my sim card? Is that how they had access to my gdax account?

  So only thing gdax did was suppress btc, and pump scam tokens Bonus ftx futs for listing went -50% from expected 600 to 300. Nobody trades that **** tho so whateve. Gdax stonk bleedin, scam coins pumping. Pure pottery

  @riddle245 Personally, I'm trying not to use CB or Gemini if I can help it. I liked CB, but I haven't used it much since. Have used Binance, Bittrex, Binance US, FTX, FTX US, KuCoin, and CB even back when it had GDax integration. Is CB Pro any good?

  @threadolysis @CoinbasePro Was this ever fixed? I just started getting the same problem even though I've been using CoinbasePro/Gdax for the past 3 years.
