I remember when #Etrade had a good customer service and you could call and actually speak to someone. Now the live chat is not available, and every time I call I just wait on hold for over an hour till I finally give up and hang up. It may time to look for a new broker @etrade

@etrade Forget driverless roads, Investors should know the ETrade is the shittest broker there is, and should stay far far far far far away. Unless, of course, you like 400 minute+ wait times when calling or using the “live” chat - which is more like “Delayed, always-broken chat”

@etrade you guys are trash. can't get back into my account immediately after setting up two factor authentication and have been on hold for hours to speak with customer support. the fact that you tweet more than you respond to your customers complaints, ridiculous.

@Ahlibobwa26 @etrade I figured it out man! You have to login from desktop > verify bank > they make a small deposit into your account > you enter deposit amount in the site. Done. Takes 3 days though. Wish theyd be courteous enough to just say this.

@mjcostel27 @etrade I have everything with them, but am also considering a move away, maybe Schwab. We have 2 IRA, my taxable acct, and our checking. Moving is painful but I'm sick of this crap, not to mention the terrible performance every single morning.

@rickyaz4 @etrade Well, they’re losing customers in droves. Just look at all the tweet replies they get, and check out their subreddit. I’ve personally witnessed at least 20 people delete their accounts this week so I suspect hundreds are, behind the scenes. **** company with **** customer service

Hey @etrade Your customer service line needs major help. 2nd day a tow waiting over 30 minutes to speak to someone plus your live chat feature failed after waiting over 2 hours for response. NOT Great service
